What are your capabilities?

As we’ve mentioned before our team has over 15 years of experience working with professional and trade associations and societies. We are ready to handle all aspects of your organization’s needs from admin and reporting functions all the way to executive director duties.

What sets M. P. Collective apart from other AMCs?

Because we are a boutique association management firm you will have our personal attention. This personal attention allows us to truly partner with our clients to attain their needs and goals in innovative ways - not continuing with the norm of “that’s how we’ve always done it.”

What is your management style?

Our management style revolves around one word - trust. We collaborate and comprehensively communicate with the organizations’ Board of Directors, Committees and even membership. By involving all corners of the membership the trust is built from the ground up, and the best decision for the organization will prevail.

What Professional associations are you involved in?

We are involved in the Kansas City Society of Association Executives (KCSAE) and the Professional Convention Managers Association (PCMA) Heartland Chapter where Meredith serves as the Co-Chair for the Programs Committee.

Why aren’t fees listed online?

Not all needs are the same. We analyze each associations provided scope of work and thoughtfully estimate the time it will take from beginning to completion. Each association will receive a reply to the scope of work requested with estimated hours and total cost.

How will our organization be billed?

Our firm uses online time tracking tools to record time spent on your organization’s projects. Your President and Treasurer will receive an invoice on the first of each month with the hours spent and notes about projects from the previous month (for example, work completed in January will be bill on February 1). Each client has 15 days to pay the invoice before a 5% late fee is incurred.

Are there separate fees for overhead?

Operating expenses (pass through fees) like phone service, postage and shipping, printing, artistic design, meeting costs, etc. will be billed to the association. All pass through costs will be detailed in the contract and will have accompanying receipts or proof of purchase.

Can we add or contract staff for services as needed?

In short, absolutely! We know some organizations have preferred individuals working with them. We like to streamline the process and work with other employees/contractors as a cohesive team. We’re all here to implement the goals of the organization!

Can M. P. Collective, Inc. offer bulk discounts to our organization?

We know that some budgets run slim throughout a calendar or fiscal year. Let us know what’s on your mind and we’ll see how we can make it work for everyone.

Is M. P. Collective, Inc. Licensed a insured?

Yes. Copies and certificates of insurance are available upon request.

How long does it take to transition from one AMC to another?

In short, there are many variables to take into consideration. We’ve worked with associations where it’s taken as few as three weeks and as many as six months. At M. P. Collective, we’ll work with your current AMC to create a timeline for the transition that fits the association’s needs. We have a checklist of items required during a transition (available upon request), and we work effectively to make the transition as painless as possible.
